Fresno, CA — A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday in Fresno County. The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 3:10 p.m. on Dinuba Avenue, west of Fowler Avenue. CHP spokesperson Mike Salas said the 69-year-old man was riding a Honda motorcycle eastbound when he lost control, allowing it to veer off the south edge of the roadway. The motorcycle struck a tree in an orchard, causing the rider to sustain critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Salas said. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs was a factor.
