Sacramento, CA — A silver Honda S2000 spun out of control and struck a pole at the Garden Highway Onramp to Interstate 5 North on February 2, 2025, at approximately 4:32 p.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the collision.
Emergency services responded promptly, finding the vehicle embedded in an embankment at the start of the onramp. The crash also caused property damage, including a broken ramp meter light that will require replacement.
Traffic was temporarily affected as crews worked to clear the area and assess the damage. A tow truck successfully removed the vehicle by 5:33 p.m., allowing traffic to return to normal.
Authorities remind motorists to drive cautiously and remain vigilant, especially on ramps and curves where vehicle control can be more challenging.
