Fullerton, CA – On Monday evening, a tragic hit-and-run accident resulted in the death of a female bicyclist near South Euclid Street. Fullerton police reported that this fatal event occurred around 8 p.m. at the intersection of South Euclid Street and West Orangethorpe Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman who had been walking her bicycle in the left eastbound lane of Orangethorpe. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities have not yet disclosed her identity.
According to investigators, the first vehicle involved was a 2003 Lexus RX 300, whose driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. However, a second vehicle, identified as a light-colored pickup truck, also struck the woman but did not stop and fled the area.
