Eureka, CA (June 10, 2025) – A driver was rescued Tuesday afternoon after a rollover crash involving two pickup trucks on Highway 101 at Koa Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred around 4:32 p.m. when a Toyota Tacoma and a GMC Canyon collided near the Caltrans yard, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. Emergency crews, including CalFire Fortuna and local fire personnel, responded to extricate a driver trapped inside.

The extent of injuries has not been disclosed. CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
