Fresno, CA (June 8, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured Sunday afternoon when struck by a vehicle on the SR-180 West Chestnut Avenue off-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The collision occurred around 3:25 p.m. Fresno Fire medics and CHP first responders arrived quickly, treated the rider on-scene, and transported the patient to a local hospital for further care. Witnesses said the crash happened near the crosswalk at the off-ramp.

CHP investigators are examining right-of-way and visibility factors as they probe the cause of the crash.
