Costa Mesa, CA (October 8, 2025) – Two people were injured yesterday night in a hit-and-run collision on southbound State Route 55 at MacArthur Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 10:06 p.m., and emergency personnel arrived to find a black Honda sedan and a silver Toyota Camry involved in the incident. The collision reportedly blocked multiple lanes, causing temporary traffic delays.
Authorities say the driver of the Honda fled the scene. Both injured victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and is seeking information about the suspect vehicle.
