Sonoma, CA (May 31, 2025) – A 14-year-old boy was critically injured when he was struck by a Honda Pilot on College Avenue at Beaver Street in Santa Rosa.

The crash occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, the Santa Rosa Police Department reports. The boy, who may have been riding a skateboard, entered the westbound lanes from the north side and was found unconscious in the roadway.

Santa Rosa Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported him to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries; he was later transferred to another Bay Area trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.
