Sonoma County, CA - Pedestrian Killed in Santa Rosa-Area Crash

Sonoma County, CA (May 31, 2025) – One pedestrian was killed Saturday night when struck by a BMW on Piner Road east of Willowside Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The collision occurred around 11:34 p.m. as the BMW traveled eastbound; the pedestrian walked south across the roadway directly into the vehicle’s path and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and a passenger in the BMW were uninjured, and the driver is not suspected of impairment. CHP investigators continue examining the circumstances of the crash.
