Sacramento, CA (December 29, 2024) – According to authorities, a juvenile died, and two adults were injured on Sunday morning in a townhouse fire in Sacramento.
The Sacramento Fire Department said they arrived at the 6200 block of Greenhaven Drive to find a second-floor townhouse on fire. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and searched for the person reported to be inside the apartment. Firefighters found the juvenile, but they died at the scene. The fire department said two adults were taken to the hospital with minor-to-moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the exact cause of the fire is currently being investigated, but authorities have not released further details in the interim.
