Sacramento, CA (May 10, 2025) – A fatal collision occurred Saturday morning near the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and North Avenue, resulting in one confirmed death, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. Responding officers located one individual who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle remained on site and is cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities have stated that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. Due to the severity of the incident, the case has been assigned to major collision investigators and crime scene investigators for further analysis.
