Rancho Cordova, CA (May 16, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a crash Friday morning on westbound Highway 50, east of Hazel Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP reports that the rider struck the rear of a Tesla, causing him to be ejected from the motorcycle. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been released.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause.
