Arden-Arcade, CA – Motorist Injured in Hit-and-Run on Watt Ave Bridge

Arden-Arcade, CA (May 17, 2025) – A motorist was injured when an Acura fleeing a hit-and-run collision with their vehicle on Watt Avenue at the American River Bridge, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash happened around 1:38 p.m. Friday when the suspectโ€™s Acura, last seen traveling recklessly southbound just past Highway 50, struck the victimโ€™s car before fleeing north near Folsom. Fire Department medics treated the injured motorist on scene and transported them to a local hospital.

The CHP investigators, aided by camera footage showing front-end damage on the Acura, continue to search for the driver and determine the full circumstances of the collision.
