Healdsburg, CA - Pedestrian Killed in Collision on US-101

Healdsburg, CA (May 24, 2025) – A pedestrian was fatally struck Thursday afternoon by a pickup truck on southbound US-101 just south of Westside Road, the CHP’s Santa Rosa office reports.

The crash occurred around 2:33 p.m. when the pedestrian, walking on the highway shoulder, stepped into the No. 2 travel lane and was hit by a Ford F-150. The driver stopped immediately and cooperated with authorities; the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Southbound traffic was reduced to one lane during the investigation and cleanup, reopening both lanes by 4:40 p.m. No other injuries were reported.
