Lakeport, CA (June 4, 2025) – One pedestrian was injured when struck by a vehicle on Lakeshore Boulevard between Shady Lane and Rocky Point Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The collision occurred around 1:57 p.m. Wednesday after a pedestrian, walking against traffic in the roadway, was struck by a vehicle. CHP officers and Lake County Fire Protection District crews responded to the scene.
Paramedics treated the pedestrian at the scene before transporting the individual to a local hospital for further evaluation. No information about the vehicle or driver has been released.
CHP investigators are examining what led to the crash and will update their findings as the investigation continues.
