La Riviera, CA (June 10, 2025) – A pickup truck crashed into a power pole early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and Tiber Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred around 4:04 a.m. and caused the truck to become lodged on light rail tracks. Emergency crews responded, and SMUD de-energized nearby power lines as a precaution. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
