Fresno, CA (June 23, 2025) – Multiple people were injured Monday night in a five-vehicle crash on eastbound State Route 180 just west of North Brawley Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The collision, first called in around 9:50 p.m., involved a white Honda Civic, gray Honda CR-V, white Ford F-150, red Subaru, and white Honda Accord. Emergency medical personnel treated victims at the scene and transported at least one to a local hospital for further care.
Several vehicles came to rest blocking the #1 lane, prompting significant delays as CHP and tow crews cleared the wreckage. One heavily damaged vehicle required specialized towing. Investigators believe the crash began with one or two vehicles before escalating into a chain-reaction collision.
CHP officers are reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing drivers to determine the cause.
