Jamestown, CA (June 30, 2025) – At least one person was killed in a two-truck crash Monday afternoon on State Route 108 near Chicken Ranch Rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 5:27 p.m., and a post-collision fire led to a full highway closure. Authorities reported that two trucks collided, and one of the vehicles caught fire, complicating rescue efforts. Firefighters quickly responded, blocking both directions of SR-108 to control the blaze and provide emergency care.
Despite their efforts, at least one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of the next of kin. The number of individuals involved and the condition of others have not yet been confirmed.
