Turlock, CA (July 09, 2025) – One person was killed in a fatal crash in Turlock on Wednesday night, following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Geer Road and Christoffersen Parkway.
At around 11:25 p.m., emergency responders arrived to find two vehicles significantly blocking the roadway. A photograph shared by the Modesto Fire Department showed a severely damaged sedan near a streetlight. One of the drivers was trapped inside their vehicle and went into cardiac arrest. Despite efforts from emergency crews, including CPR, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification.
The second driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, considering factors like speed, drugs, or alcohol.
