Chico, CA (July 12, 2025) – A major injury crash involving an ATV left multiple people hurt Saturday evening on Falcon Pointe Dr in Chico, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. and involved a solo ATV carrying at least three individuals. Among the injured was a juvenile who was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but was found with a pulse.
First responders, including medics and CAL FIRE crews, arrived promptly and provided emergency care at the scene. The CHP later classified the crash as a major injury collision (1180) around 6:21 p.m.
Falcon Pointe Dr was temporarily affected as crews stabilized the victims and worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are still investigating whether the collision occurred on the paved roadway or an adjacent dirt path.
