Sonora, CA (July 23, 2025) – A devastating collision claimed four lives and left another individual seriously injured on Wednesday evening, July 23, 2025, near Sonora. The crash occurred just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 49 and Shaws Flat Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck involved a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Dodge pickup truck.
