San Bernardino, CA (September 21, 2025) – A fatal traffic collision occurred early Sunday morning on I-10 West at California Street, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash was reported shortly after 1:00 a.m. and involved two vehicles: a red vehicle with a 30-year-old occupant and a white vehicle driven by a White male adult. One vehicle reportedly jumped an embankment near a museum.
Emergency responders, including Redlands Police and fire personnel, were on scene. The time of death for one individual was recorded at approximately 3:00 a.m.
Both vehicles were removed by Edwin’s Tow and Broncs Tow Yard for evidence collection. Traffic on I-10 West was temporarily disrupted while crews cleared the roadway.
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
