Sacramento, CA (July 29, 2026) – Two people were taken to the hospital after an early morning crash involving a car and a motorcycle, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
SPD said officers responded to reports of the crash around 2:15 a.m. near Fruitridge Road and 48th Street. The collision happened during the early morning hours of July 29, 2026.
The motorcycle rider was left with major injuries, police said. A passenger was left with moderate injuries.
Both are expected to recover, according to the department.
