South Los Angeles, CA (August 31, 2025) – A deadly motorcycle crash on the southbound 110 Freeway near Florence Avenue left one person dead and another injured Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash occurred around 7:23 p.m., involving a motorcycle carrying two individuals and another vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced one person on the motorcycle dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.
The incident caused significant traffic disruptions, with the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway being fully closed for several hours. The lanes reopened shortly before 11 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not released further details.
