Foresthill, CA (September 14, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle left an 11-year-old child injured on Foresthill Road near Old Foresthill Road on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The incident occurred at approximately 10:27 a.m. on the southbound side of Foresthill Road. CHP reports indicate the vehicle involved was being driven by an adult male who was driving his niece’s car. The bicycle rider, an 11-year-old, was transported to Placerville for evaluation and X-rays following the collision.
