Sacramento, CA (October 2, 2025) – Three people were injured on Friday evening after a stolen vehicle crashed into a home during a police pursuit in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Fire Department.
The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the 7300 block of Circle Parkway. The Sacramento Police Department reported that officers first responded to a stolen vehicle report around 5 p.m. Roughly 45 minutes later, they located the vehicle occupied by a suspect, who sped away, leading police on a pursuit through the neighborhood.
The chase ended when the suspect lost control and crashed into a residence, trapping one person under the vehicle and injuring two others inside the home. Sacramento Fire crews rescued the trapped victim, who was alert and speaking when transported to the hospital. Two other residents suffered minor injuries and were also hospitalized.
Police confirmed the suspect was detained, but their identity and potential charges have not yet been released. The extent of the damage to the home remains under review.
