Pacoima, CA (October 19, 2025) – A man in his 50s was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash yesterday night while crossing Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The collision happened shortly before 10 p.m., when a Chevy pickup truck hit the man as he walked across the street. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The driver fled after the crash, leaving the scene before officers arrived. Investigators later found the pickup truck but are still searching for the driver. The LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division continues to investigate the incident.
