San Diego, CA (October 12, 2025) – A 50-year-old man was seriously injured in a collision with an SUV while running along a divider in North Park Sunday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The accident occurred around 6:20 a.m. in the 3100 block of El Cajon Boulevard when the pedestrian unexpectedly ran into the path of a GMC Jimmy driven by a 70-year-old man. The impact resulted in the pedestrian sustaining a fractured pelvis and facial lacerations. He was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the injured pedestrian. The incident remains under investigation.
