Los Angeles, CA (September 14, 2025) – A fiery two-vehicle crash in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning left seven people injured, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The collision occurred just before 3 a.m. along South Grand Avenue, when two vehicles crashed and subsequently struck several pedestrians walking on the sidewalk. Seven people were transported to the hospital following the incident. Two women in their 20s were listed in critical condition, and a 49-year-old man was reported in serious condition. Three other women were in fair condition, and the condition of the seventh individual remains unknown.
Police later took one of the drivers into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Further details regarding the arrest have not been disclosed.
