San Marcos, CA - 80-Year-Old Woman Killed in Car Crash on San Marcos Boulevard Near Palomar College

San Marcos, CA (September 29, 2025) – An 80-year-old motorist was killed early Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash on San Marcos Boulevard near Palomar College in San Marcos, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. when the woman was driving a Honda sedan that overturned in the 500 block of San Marcos Boulevard. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead. Her name has been withheld pending family notification.

Authorities say the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and there were no witnesses to the incident.
