Elk Grove, CA - 91-Year-Old Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at Bond Road and Salmon Creek Drive

Elk Grove, CA (September 27, 2025) – A 91-year-old woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bond Road and Salmon Creek Drive in Elk Grove, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.

Police report that the woman was driving a Lincoln Town Car northbound on Salmon Creek Drive when she reportedly attempted a maneuver near the fire station on Bond Road. A Toyota RAV4 traveling eastbound on Bond Road collided with the driver’s side of her vehicle.

Emergency responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she died from her injuries. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release her identity once family members are notified.

The driver of the Toyota sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also treated at a hospital.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash and ask anyone with information to contact the Elk Grove Police Department Traffic Bureau.
