Albany, CA (May 23, 2025) – One motorcyclist was injured when a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided on westbound Interstate 80 near the Central Avenue exit, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The CHP says first responders from the Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel arrived promptly and treated the rider at the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to a local trauma center, and CHP investigators continue to examine the cause of the collision.
