San Jacinto, CA (September 21, 2025) – An adult and a child were injured Saturday evening in a major two-vehicle collision at Soboba Casino, California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed.
The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. at 22777 Soboba Road, involving two vehicles. One vehicle reportedly caught fire, while the other flipped onto an embankment. Emergency responders found the adult and infant trapped inside the vehicle.
Cal Fire and local fire crews quickly responded, rescuing the occupants and extinguishing the flames. The California Highway Patrol handled the scene and coordinated towing services to remove the damaged vehicles.
The roadway was cleared after emergency crews completed their work. The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
