Antelope, CA – Man and Dog Killed in Hit-and-Run at Home Depot Parking Lot

Antelope, CA (June 18, 2025) – A man in his 50s was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in the Antelope area of Sacramento County, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the parking lot of The Home Depot on Antelope Road. Authorities said the man was walking his dog when he was struck by a vehicle. Both the man and the dog died at the scene. The driver fled on foot after initially parking the vehicle. The California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
