Antioch, CA - Honda and Utility Trailer Involved in Crash on SR-4 West

Antioch, CA (April 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a blue Honda and a utility trailer loaded with wood caused traffic delays yesterday evening on State Route 4 West, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred around 5:05 p.m. near the Somersville Road Off-Ramp. Emergency responders arrived promptly to manage the scene and direct traffic. The trailer was reported to be partially obstructing the roadway, creating hazardous conditions for passing drivers.

The Honda was located on the roadside following the collision. No additional details were released regarding the condition of the vehicle or any injuries.

Tow services were dispatched to remove the trailer from the roadway. Once cleared, traffic conditions began to normalize.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
