Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on Washington St and Van Buren Blvd Last Night

Riverside, CA (September 18, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision involving a bicyclist occurred late last night at the intersection of Washington Street and Van Buren Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The incident was reported at approximately 11:24 p.m. when a vehicle struck a bicyclist and fled the scene. The bicycle and property were left behind on the roadway. Emergency responders, including fire personnel, arrived promptly. The injured bicyclist was transported to Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the hit-and-run and are searching for the driver responsible. The vehicle involved has not yet been identified, and no further details have been released.
