Modesto, CA (September 03, 2025) – A big rig accident with injuries occurred on Wednesday afternoon on I-5 in Modesto. The California Highway Patrol reported the collision at 2:43 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Westley Rest Area.
Authorities confirmed that the big rig collided with two other vehicles, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
One or more individuals sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
