Fresno, CA (September 23, 2025) – A major injury traffic collision occurred Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of E Floral Avenue and Pederson Avenue in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash involved two vehicles, including a black sedan and a gray Ford F-150 pickup.
At approximately 2:53 p.m., one vehicle was reported on its side with a person trapped inside, while citizens at the scene provided assistance. The injured individual was transported to KDH for treatment.
A black van may have also been involved, and one vehicle reportedly struck a utility pole, which remained upright after the crash. Towing services from Michaels Tow and Able Tow were dispatched to remove the vehicles.
The roadway was closed for approximately six hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene. The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the major injury collision.
