Coarsegold, CA (May 27, 2025) – Two people died when a white utility truck lost control and struck a Ford Bronco head-on on Highway 41 near Van Teri Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.
CHP says the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday when the truck clipped an SUV on a curve before colliding with the Bronco. Both vehicles plunged into a nearby ravine.
Emergency crews pronounced two Bronco occupants dead at the scene. The utility-truck driver, suspected of DUI, was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. CHPโs Central Division continues its investigation.
