Concord, CA (May 19, 2025) – A motorist was injured Monday afternoon when two vehicles collided on Highway 242 near Highway 4, the California Highway Patrol reports.
At around 2:15 p.m., officers responding to the scene found two vehicles involved in the collision. One person sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital; the severity of their injuries remains unknown. The CHP continues to investigate.
