Almaden, CAย โ A fatal traffic accident Thursday morning led to the closure of McKean Road near San Vicente Avenue in the Almaden area of Santa Clara County, causing significant disruptions for commuters traveling near South San Jose.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Hollister-Gilroy area office reported the crash at approximately 7:25 AM, not far from the Rancho San Vicente Open Space Preserve.
In the aftermath of the collision, all lanes on McKean Road near San Vicente Avenue were shut down. Emergency responders arrived on-site to manage traffic, assess the scene, and begin recovery operations.
