Dixon, CA (April 30, 2025) – Several people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday evening on Interstate 80 westbound, just east of Pedrick Road in Dixon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The collision happened around 5:30 p.m. and involved multiple vehicles, prompting a major emergency response from Dixon Fire Department and emergency medical teams.
Injured individuals were treated at the scene and transported to area hospitals for further care. The severity of the injuries has not yet been publicly disclosed.
The crash, which occurred during peak commute hours, caused significant traffic delays. Several lanes were shut down as authorities worked to assess the scene and remove the damaged vehicles. One lane remained closed for an extended period as investigations continued.
