Placerville, CA (September 02, 2025) – A solo vehicle overturned around 4:50 PM on eastbound US-50 near the 36 Milestone Tract. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver was ejected and found unresponsive but breathing. Emergency responders airlifted the driver with serious injuries to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes were temporarily closed as authorities cleared the scene. Some road signs were damaged but are expected to be repaired soon. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
