Fairfield, CA (July 2, 2025) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision Wednesday evening on westbound Interstate 80 just west of CA-12 in the Fairfield area, the CHP reports.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:54 p.m. during the evening rush hour, involving multiple vehicles and causing lane blockages along I-80 West. Emergency responders arrived promptly and treated the injured. One or more individuals were transported to a nearby medical facility for further care.
The severity of the injuries has not been disclosed, and the identities of those involved remain undisclosed. Traffic was affected for a short time as California Highway Patrol (CHP) and other responders worked to clear the scene and direct traffic.
