Fairfield, CA (May 1, 2025) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision with a Chevrolet Bolt on Interstate 80 near Suisun Parkway Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash occurred around 7:58 a.m. on the westbound lanes of I-80.
Emergency personnel arrived promptly and found the motorcyclist on the ground with visible injuries. The rider was stabilized at the scene and transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
The exact circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation. CHP officials are examining possible contributing factors, including lane changes and speed differences between the involved vehicles.
Traffic slowed temporarily during the response, but normal flow resumed once the scene was cleared.
