Fairfield, CA (May 26, 2025) – One person was injured when two vehicles collided on westbound Interstate 80 near the Travis Boulevard exit, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday during the evening commute when one vehicle abruptly changed lanes and struck an adjacent car. Emergency medical personnel treated the injured individual at the scene before transporting the person to a local hospital for evaluation.
CHP investigators are examining whether speed, distracted driving, or a failure to signal contributed to the collision.
