San Diego County, CA (September 24, 2025) – A fatal car crash occurred Wednesday night on San Vicente Road near Gunn Stage Road in San Diego County. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved a vehicle that struck a tree.
The crash was reported at approximately 9:44 p.m., causing the eastbound lanes to be blocked while emergency responders arrived on scene. CHP coordinated with the coroner and RBS Tow to handle the vehicles and secure the scene.
The CHP is continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal car crash.
