Madera, CA (September 07, 2025) – A deadly two-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 41 near Road 406 in Madera Sunday evening. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident took place around 7:37 p.m. when a black Honda Accord and a Ford Escape collided. One elderly occupant was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Emergency responders, including EMS and CAL FIRE, quickly arrived at the scene, and CPR was administered to one of the victims.
By 8:32 p.m., Eppler’s Towing of Madera was called for an evidence tow. The roadway was reopened once the investigation was completed.
