Sonoma County, CA (September 25, 2025) – A fatal car accident occurred on Thursday morning on State Highway 121 near Schellville in Sonoma County, resulting in the death of a female driver. The crash happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. near Burndale Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
CHP reports that a Jeep traveling southbound crossed into the northbound lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a big-rig. A DirecTV van, traveling behind the Jeep, also struck the big-rig in the collision.
The female driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the big-rig and the DirecTV van were uninjured.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal crash, and no additional details have been released.
