Florin, CA (June 6, 2025) – A 10-year-old boy was injured Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Calvine Road and Barrymore Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. The child was found pinned beneath the vehicle and was transported to the hospital after sustaining leg abrasions. Officers from the Elk Grove Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
