Folsom, CA (June 2, 2025) – One driver was injured when the vehicle struck a light rail train at Folsom Boulevard and Blue Ravine Road, the Folsom Police Department reports.
The collision occurred around 9:00 a.m. Monday, as the vehicle crossed the tracks. Fire and police personnel treated the driver’s minor injuries at the scene.
SacRT crews responded to clear the crossing and restore train service. An investigation into what led to the crash is ongoing.
